With the combined resources of Siemens, the value proposition for LNG clients from the new Dresser-Rand business within Siemens Power and Gas division have expanded. Dresser-Rand’s innovations in compression technology, rotor dynamics, head capacity, and efficiency per compression section all serve to provide incremental production gains that are important to the operator. The addition of Siemens’ SGT-750 gas turbine driver and Industrial Trent® 60 aeroderivative gas turbine to the portfolio increase Dresser-Rand’s capabilities for offshore and onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects.
GE’s Distributed Power business (NYSE: GE) has expanded its new Gas Compression Power Packager program by adding Wasco Engineering Group Limited (Wasco) as a new participant at the Platinum Level. The program is designed to provide customers in gas compression applications with enhanced access to genuine Waukesha parts and skilled service technicians.
Rover Pipeline LLC, a subsidiary of Dallas-based Energy Transfer Partners and Mount Vernon, Ohio-based Ariel Corporation announced today that Ariel has been awarded the contract to supply 39 natural gas compressors to the Rover Pipeline. The total cost of the contract is estimated at more than $34 million.
Ariel Corporation announces that it is currently developing a new production facility in the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority business complex. The 50,000 square foot building, located at 659 Kaiser Drive Ltd., is the first phase of expansion and calls for the hiring of machinists and support personnel from the central Ohio region. The Ariel-Newark facility will increase Ariel’s manufacturing capacity in the production of our reciprocating compressor product line.
